Bio-oil treatments soften dry shingles with plant-based oils and last about 5 years, while the GoNano nano coating cures into a hard shield warranted up to 15. Here's the fair version of both sides.
Asphalt shingles dry out as the oils in them age away. Bio-oil products put some of that flexibility back. Shingles get softer and less brittle for a few years. It works, and most Calgary rejuvenation companies sell exactly this. The typical warranty is 5 years, with reapplication about every 5 years.
The nano approachThe GoNano treatment takes a different path. It's a penetrating silica shield that soaks in, then cures into a hard, water-repelling layer.
